LOCATION, CLIMATE, CURATIVE FACTORS Marianske Lazne is a popular spa town in western Bohemia. It belongs together with Karlovy Vary (Carlsbad) and Frantiskovy Lazne to the famous spa town triangle. Marianske Lazne is situated in a wooded valley and surrounded by green mountains. The town has an amazing number of curative springs, a healthy climate and is an exquisite mosaic of parks and noble houses. Many of the historical buildings of the 19th. century were restaurated. A very special point of interest is the singing fountain Zpívající fontána.
